UPSTAIRS
The 'boudoir' has a draped bed and comfortable memory foam mattress and is designed so that you can sleep either end to enjoy the view. Use the twin room as your dressing room.
DOWNSTAIRS
The lounge has a large sofa and lots of cushions so that you can cuddle up in front of the fire, watch a dvd, read or play games. Plenty of room in the kitchen for 2 to cook together and then hide the kitchen behind folding doors and eat at opposite ends of the table like a lord and lady, cosily opposite each other on the shorter side.
The porch has just enough speace for 2 to sit and have coffee admiring the view rowards the fells.
FURTHER AFIELD
Wander down to Wainwrights Pub in the village or The Britannia in Elterwater, The Three Shires Inn or Dungeon Ghyll [all an easy walk away] for a meal or quiz by the roaring fire. If you want to just relax day membership at the Langdale Country Club [which has swimming pool, sauna, hairdresser etc] is only £9.50. Or you can have a complete spa day with elemis treatments. Purdey's Restaurant has AA 2 rosettes for a special evening out - & as its only a stroll home to the comfort of Langdale View you don't have to worry about drinking and driving.
